In light of the continued global spread of Covid-19 and following cancellation and postponements of all motorsport in March and April, we wanted to communicate and advise on the approach we are taking in these unprecedented times.
Ultimately the safety and wellbeing of our customers is our no.1 priority. We are working with all race circuits, promoters and series owners to obtain clarity around all events as soon as possible. The situation globally continues to evolve on a daily basis, and as such the Motorsport Tickets customer team is working around the clock, with all its partners, to ensure all customers receive a high level of care and those directly affected by the events already cancelled or postponed can find a suitable solution.

I have tickets for a postponed or cancelled event

We work directly with the circuits and supply official tickets; we are ultimately regarded as a reseller. This means that upon postponement or cancellation of an event we need to await a response from the circuit on how they want to handle refunds before we can come back to you with what we are able to offer. Each circuit to date has had a different approach. Please be assured the team are working with all circuits to ensure clarity as soon as possible for all affected events. Once we have clarity, we are aiming to process all refunds within 28 days.

I have tickets for an event, that is yet been postponed or cancelled. What should I do?

The guidance is that those races are intending to run as planned. This is subject to change as regional governments adopt strategies to protect their citizens from the Covid-19 disease. We are working with all circuits, with races in May and June as a priority, to understand the status of that race, and will communicate to you as soon as we know more.

My race is later this year, but I'm changing my mind about wanting to travel to a race? 

This is a significantly stressful time for all, and in these unprecedented times our focus is with family, friends and our local community. At the present time travel for many customers across much of Europe, North America and Asia is not possible due to the associated travel restrictions in place. Though the expectation is for these to be lifted in early summer, we appreciate some customers might be put off travelling, at least in the immediate aftermath.

For these customers we are offering the ability to immediately transition the full ticket value into a Motorsport Tickets Gift Voucher. When will the motorsport season resume?

Depending on your race series, the season has been paused or never got started. I'm currently in isolation, but I'm keen to buy for later this year but worried it might get cancelled?
